SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group, d. d., a member of IMH – Industrial Metallurgical Holding, is one of the leading Slovenian economic groups. It is comprised of 15 companies whose products with high added value are appreciated at home and in the European Union, as well as in the United States and other countries in the world, which account for over 70 percent of their products’ export. The steel companies Acroni, d. o. o., and Metal Ravne, d. o. o., manufacture long, flat steel products, Noži Ravne, d. o. o. is renowned for top-quality industrial knives and Elektrode Jesenice manufactures filler materials for various welding procedures of steel and other metals. Also part of the core companies are SUZ, d. o. o. and ZIP Center, d. o. o., which employs disabled people. Serpa Ravne is a daughter company of Metal Ravne which is engaged mostly in service activities. SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group’s foreign trade network - includes the companies Acroni Italy and Acroni Deutschland, Iuenna Stahl in Austria and Kopo International in the United States.
